This program is designed to teach sewing construction and help students become confident, independent sewers.

General Class information

• Students come one day a week for one hour class or can choose our two hour Class.
• Cost is a flat rate of $55.00 per month one hour class or $110.00 for our two hour class. Lessons are paid monthly, one full month in advance. When you first register, your fees will be for your first full month of lessons plus a prorated fee for the remaining lessons in the month that you start.  You'll also pay an annual registration kit fee of $45 when you first register. If you want to cancel, we require notice in writing 30 days prior to your child's last scheduled class.
• Students are responsible for all their own fabric, pattern, and notions
• No more than 6 children per class
• Missed classes are made up the last calendar Friday of the month by arrangement with the Instructor
• Fees cannot be transferred from month to month
• All sewing machines and tools are provided. Students do not need to bring equipment.
• Sewing craft projects are available to the students who finish a project with class time left to spare.
• All sewing is done in my studio; no outside sewing required

Irish Chain Quilt

Many quilt historians suggest that this pattern might have been inspired by similar weaving designs. We’re not sure… but it sure is sew much fun to create.

 Intro to Surface Design on Textiles- Adults (all levels welcome)

One day workshop           Students: min 3 - max 6            Instructor – Michelle Aquilino

“Sunday” September 13, from 11:00am-5:00pm $66

In this class we will explore various methods of surface design on textiles. We will experiment with painting, printing, stamping and other techniques to create unique fabrics. You will leave with fabrics that can be used in all of your quilting and sewing projects. Please bring a bag lunch.

 

Retro Aprons

Travel Trilogy

Our travel trilogy class will include making a garment bag, makeup bag, and a luggage tag. Personalize one our all three with a monogram or all a cute personalized saying like “ My Little Black Dress Bag”!
